Spent the day pulling my hair and kitbashing Destroyers

And I'm all out of hair

Managed to excavate my new rule books earlier, and my dice, ready for my game on Wednesday night.

Not sure exactly where my tape measure is, but I’m sure it’ll turn up. If not, there’s a home goods store just round the corner so I’ll get a new one.

I make it a point to have 1 tape measure + a set of dice per arny. Templates as well if needed.
They just stay in the respective army cases. That way I'm never forgetting them.

I am moving as well in a couple of weeks. It's made me realise how many WIP Heresy models I have sitting around in plastic containers (it's been a bit of a shock for my wife as well). Getting everything to the new place will be a chore; finding space for it all will be a nightmare.

Definitely get that organised into a single area as soon as you’ve time.

I put all my painted models into proper carry cases, and moved those myself. Mostly because then any breakages are solely on me, but also so it makes them much easier to find.

Permanent storage solutions need to wait right now. Starting to get my place sorted, and haven’t quite settled on what’s going where.

To help I’ve got a trip to the tip, where I’m ditching packaging, and a couple of Ottomans which have grown mould (thanks, former landlord for never addressing the damp!) That will free up space nicely.

But back to Heresy! Today, once my necessaries are done? Sit down with the main rulebook and try, try, try to get the turn structure into my head.

Unit done, now just needs supports

Built my karacnos, now since i am currently out of metal spray and certain colours, i get around to building 3 more 21 cm mörser 16 as earthshakers for my militia.

Pile of shame into pile of built. Now onwards to paint.

Been checking Myminifactory for Militia stuff, but ultimately decided to hold off until I get the damned The Damned from Atlantic

Been supporting those Mk4 Destroyers

And threw together a better replacement Tactical Sergeant with hopefully a naturally posed resting bolter

Replacement tactical sergeants and new Destroyers have manifested, mostly. Need to reprint the legion symbol pads.



And the next big thing is also almost ready, just needs some faction bling.

And another thing! This one's been floating around so long it was still optimized for FDM printing. I fixed it up and made entirely new las barrels for a few % more accuracy to the FW sculpt.

Sponsons printing now. Just the cables and mounts, so I can use up all the plastic guns from the 4 sponson sprues that I have.

Sorely tempted to put heavy flamers on the Arquitors, they can then dish out 3 different tactical statuses.

Practicing my vehicle paint scheme approach on a Rhino ( printed) before I do some more expensive models. I want to match my infantry fairly closely. I don't airbrush so I need a method established. Riekland Fleshshade went on well over fur brown spray, only splotched on one small panel. Now I will stipple the word bearers red on with some amazon stipple brushes. Wish me luck, vehicles are a challenge by hand
