I can see vespids, but I'm going with new Baharroth.

Nah. Vespids have more bat like wings, certainly not feathered in appearance.

But it looks almost biomechanical, hence I suspect Yeld.

It's the ice wing of the rare Kislevite feathered bear.

They had more bat like wings. They were done so long ago (18 years) a bit of a re-image isn't impossible.

They do look more “rough” than “elegant” so probably from an evil/destruction faction?

That’s not a Yeld. That’s a Van Saar hired gun.

They look more like long feathers to me. Most likely with some barring pattern on them from the darker sections that look like paint rather than texture.

My money is on some winged creature with feathers in a healthy condition (since I don't see any decay on the parts shown). Perhaps another heroic mount for Cities of Sigmar or something elvish with wings. Could be Orruks too.

I don't think its anything for Death unless its got healthy tips and rotten core; Chaos is possible as well - eg a brand new wild manticore set for Slaves to Darkness.

Meh, my munda knowledge that great sadly, i trusted the great search engine.

That said, the "feathers" seem very irregular on the outside edge and the slight nmm sheen on them makes me think they might be made of ice or crystal?

I'm saying a Lumineth Phoenix.

We're seeing a lot of Alumnian Lumineth in the promos for the Flesh-Eaters.

We're seeing rumors of Lumineth Warcry, and a Tyrionic warband of Alumnian Scouts with Phoenix "companions" feels possible.

I think the last time they did a advent calendar all of the images were from the same box set. The eldar vs chaos box set.

They look similar in shape to some of the new Seraphon kits

My first thought on seeing it was Old World Carrion. So I'll put my vote in for that.

Its Raven McRaven primarch with mutant wings (paintjob looks pretty dark). The white stuff you see on the thumbnail might be strands of white hair (due to age and stuff).

I think these look like animal wings, versus mechanical ones. Having it be carrion from TOW would track, or some large bird.

I'd suggest Sanguinius or a Gryphon. Or maybe a new stand-alone model for Yndrasta?

It's fairly small. The "white" that someone pointed out yesterday is part of the plumage for the torso.
