It goes on to save a young Gotrek and thus set in motion a most unusual set of circumstances.

And then losing a Khadoran relic that was gifted to him for his quest. A machine that Malakai Makaisson finds and then inspires him to rebel against the Engineers Guild.

Don’t be silly, the Eagle of Black Ridge only has the vaguest of information about the World of Legend but he does know where Thanquol’s nest-mother is supposed to be.
Unfortunately he could only bring his magic silver armour with him and none of the local artificers know how to make a long strike crossbow, much less one with a 400 yd range.

Hopefully fully AoS skaven means that the army can be relaunched for TOW using the old plastics, since the separation of the two product lines is probably the real reason why lizardmen, skaven and vampire counts didn't get included in the initial wave of releases, too many WHFB kits still in the AoS line.

Thats not the reason, and they wont be.

And i think we have a preview of what the new Duardin units are going to look like:

Maybe not as full armies. As mercenaries or allies - sure, why not? Especially Undead - I mean on the map there's a Vampire keep next to Karaz-a-Karak and we still have Mousillion and Sylvania too.

If that were the metric, then we already had Ogres return as mercs.

I am not sure the duardin will return just because you saw this one mini. I thought the same thing about dark elves with the mistshaper and the warcry dark elves but it never happened.

There's rumours that Fyreslayers are not getting a battletome and the reason is that they are being absorbed into a new dispossessed battletome.

I am not a stormcasts fan at all, but the WH + series was great (He-Man modern version a bit) and this model looks fantastic.

But the price is probably insane.

Okay it's even known.

899 dollar is even more than I assumed holy moly.

So... are you buying some for your fellow Dakkanauts for the Holidays?

I could do a lot with 899 dollars - I wonder how many people will buy one immediately?

That's definitely too expensive for me. Maybe 100 euro would be okay.

I'll be getting one, but not until after Christmas. But have you seen the scale shot of her? The thing is like knee height.

You would need a special cabinet for it. I can't imagine where I would even put it.

So i think this is the first time..ever there's been a book from the lizardmen/Seraphon perspective?

That's unexpected.

I think one of the Thanquol books had parts that were from the Lizardmen perspective, but they were never the main focus. Or it might've been Burning Shore, part of the Florin & Lorenzo series. Its been so long!

Edit: Looked into the authors curriculum vitae outside of Black Library and he’s an Arthur C. Clarke and Hugo award winner. I’ll have to keep an eye out for this novel.

Mini of the decade results:

https://www.warhammer-community.com/en-gb/articles/rush3hdf/warhammer-age-of-sigmar-miniature-of-the-decade-the-winners/

Pretty happy with those results, although no 1 was a give. Would like to have seen Morathi and Ionus a bit higher.

Nothing I vote for ever wins... same with politicians now that I think about it.

I don’t recall exactly what I voted for but Be’lakor and Ushoran being top two seems about right, even if the order is wrong.

Archaon in the top 3!!! That's hard to believe, its a terribly goofy miniature. The rest of the top 10 is very solid though

Maybe I'm just biased against the faction but Ushoran as number 1? Among all these big centerpiece models with lots of details here's some big dude on a base.

The other 9 could really be shuffled in any order and I'd pretty much agree they're all well designed.
