I do like this chaos sorcerer, trying to justify what I could use him for.

Wondering if this Warhammer Day is where they preview the Limited Edition Christmas or Boxing Day figure? Are we expecting another Red Gobbo this year or something different?

I imagine the Christmas figure will be later in the year. I'm sure there will be another variation on the Red Gobbo or White Dwarf as a fun Christmas figure.

If we are lucky, a set of new weapon sprues for the warlord, reaver, and/or warbringer in plastic since everyone can take allied titans.

That could be cool. I didn’t mind the resin weapon expansions, but plastic remains King of Materials.

While there's allegedly no more 40k coming this year, everyone agreed that that's odd. I for one won't be shocked if they announce a surprise Thousand Sons release. It just fits

But... its like that now. CSM recently had their book with the god specific units out and loads of funny unaligned "lost and damned" units for flavour. Just that EC have a pdf fto make thier list instead of a full codex..

They mean with god specific daemons going into the god specific books.

I can well see 40K following AoS and doing that; once Emperors Children are out I could see the next edition do away with the combined demon codex entirely and just having 4 god specific ones.

Honestly whilst its a shame to lose fully combined demon armies in AoS, you can ally but there are restrictions now that fit the lore; its actually been a great thing.

It creates so many slots for new models with god specific styles. Indeed one big hope I have is that we'll see new demon creatures appear over time as a result.

It's already allowed the mortal follower side to flourish into a whole variety of new models and options.

So while I dont expect a big EC reveal I could see this being similar to the initial sisters thing where they show a single model (if I was to guess it would be the classic crop top ec art inspired as he was in the lucius animaiton) and start a ec day each month to show new design process

Not expecting too much- wildcard thought maybe a new 40k Quest game as Blackstone is gone, might explain the 40k gap in the schedule running up to Christmas... just a thought, probably not.
More likely a narrative book and maybe a look at the Krieg.

Might also be a variant of one of the Necromunda bots though, the place has been lousy with them lately.

The new models are great, but I think the cards look much worse with model photos than art. It’s a minor point all told but rubbed me the wrong way how they presented that as a positive, I think characterful art being replaced with glossy photos that are all over the place anyway is a bad thing.
