I think the biggest issue is the length of the titles means quite a few aren't fully readable on any device. They're also just really wordy in general, which makes seeing what's going on at a glance really difficult.
I think I'd probably have one less article per row on most devices, to make each one stand out a bit more. The whole thing is really busy and feels a lot like information overload. I think that's partially a problem with them releasing at least one article per day, so there's a lot of genuine filler, or at least articles that aren't relevant to me.

At first I thought it was just the fact that the text boxes are narrower, as if they just assumed I'd be reading on some super narrow screen instead of a computer. After a few days I've realized though that its also the fact that for some reason they also have all of the text on the left of the screen leaving the entire right half just a sea of white. Like at least centering the text would help a little bit.
I could be crazy but I'm at least pretty sure the old site the text was at least centered somewhat and had less dead space.
I think it may be a work in progress and they' re still ironing things out. The latest news articles near the top are centered (for me anyway) as they were on the old site. But I could swear they were set to the left a day or two ago when I last checked something on the website.
Also clicking on the Warhammer Community home icon didn't always produce the same result from launch to now. I think we'll have to allow for a little more tinkering before we see the website as it was intended.

Dunno if it’s a difference of opinion or difference of platform, but it’s displaying fine on my iPad.
I get the latest article up front, and scrolling down I get the other articles in published order.

I think they got the main window for articles messed up. "More Settings" which seems to just be a list of tags, is set too appear on the right side which shunts all the text window over to the left. I suspect the settings tab is supposed to be underneath and someone has put the page into a news article format or something.
It should be fixable so that we have text filling the middle at the very least.

I was able to read the articles after changing the region in the upper right corner from US to UK

Can’t click on anything either without error message.
To be fair, I don’t think I’m really missing much in reality.

I figure a negative criticism deserves a positive one: the US site appears to be working correctly now.

Not sure finally managing to get the busted part of your halfassed launch off the ground counts as a positive criticism (what ever that is).

The new community site is awfull.
There have been no interesting news for 40k, AoS or The old World for weeks. The Heresy Thursday is a joke -tiny heresy and yet another article about how to paint your steam punk guard.
All in all the new site have the hobby running on fumes and people are forced to dabble in Kill Team out of desperation.

That's less the fault of the new site, and more the fault of the release cycle, though - we're in a period where there's no big news for 40k or AOS until we hit the pre-order period for the Slaves to Darkness book, and we know we're done with TOW for 2024, unless there's another random MTO run.
We've had three Heresy Thursdays now since they restarted, and two of them featured kits of some form. I don't think anything promised that every Heresy Thursday would feature models.

Yeah its a bit of a lull period, but that's not a totally bad thing considering how much stuff there is out there to buy for most things and the fact that GW is still (even in the UK) playing production catch-up.
HH wise I think we can see that the Mechanicum is waiting for a big second wave of plastics based on the "sold out online" markers on the models; the random ones that do flit in and out of production and the contents of the Mechanicum Epic model boxed set.
