Dumb question, where can I buy the skeleton characters and the orc troops?

I suspect that the former Compendium project might have split into a unified rulebook and unified-for-now background book.

As for the minis, I suspect the answer will be the Spellcrow site once everything goes up for pre-order on the 24th.

The second language version will be German, available to pre-order at a later date, which we will inform you about.

Important announcement

Purple Warlock Issue 4 (both PDF and printed version) will be open for pre-order after September 24th with the estimated shipping date on October 24th, 2025.

Please note that Issue 4 will not include any rules necessary to play the Er'Sael army or other. You will find there lore and previously announced hobby tutorials.

A couple of size comparisons have shown up recently featuring differences between Argatoria warriors, Legendary Heroes and standard heroes.

The first one shows two reptilian armies: Arox and Sorgax.



For reference, Reptilians (blue, in the bottom) measure 12 mm to the eyes, as they are slightly bigger than standard human models.

Legendary Heroes tend to be more pumped and they move on 30 mm round bases – they are placed third in both pictures. Standard heroes released so far move on 25 mm round bases.

The second comparison features some of the totally new models.



Here's the Black Orc next to the Half-Giant (left), Amazons (right) and a monstrous Larva of Nalharap. For reference, the Amazons have 10 mm to the eyes. Black Orcs are roughly in the size of Half-Giants but with a bit wider shoulders and larger jaws.

To make the sizes even clearer, below is the comparison with Orc Warriors (basic unit in the Er'Sael army) replacing the Amazons. You can see that the difference between the warriors and the Black Orc is obviously smaller.
