Without drawing the ire of those who still remember the dark days of the Dreadnought/Fury of the Ancients, is it possible to build an all robot army?

Not looking for regular folks with a few cybernetics... but full on Battle automata.

But Domitars, Castellax(i?), Thanatars, Verax , and whatever cool stompy robots I'm missing?

I've scouted around the 'net and no one seems to have commented (that I've found) on an all 'bot list.

Kind of?

You’ll need some Tech-Priest handlers, as they bring pretty much essential buffs. And Thallax are arguably the best basic infantry in the game.

But with Castellax in Troops, and Automata in every other slot barring HQ? Yes. You can.

Fed up of Scalpers? But still want your Exclusives? Why not join us?

In original edition you could take a Legio Cybernetica force and choose Inmar Satarael as your compulsory HQ choice
The compulsory troops were Castellax and the elite, fast attack and heavy support choices could be filled with Domitar, Vorax/Vultarax and Thanatar respectively.
Nuthin' but killa' M.C.s showin' y'all what tiiiime it is.

How important is it for your troops to be line?

The cybernetic Arcana is nice, but the Ordo reductor seems like fun to point out three pieces of terrain and say this is now difficult and dangerous terrain.

Decisions, Decisions...

Well only Line can score, so...

The old meta is dead and the new meta struggles to be born. Now is the time of munchkins.

Oh, that frames everything in a different light.

Looks like Cybernetica it is.

Thank you.

Oh, one last thing, do I need the Martian Civil War book? If not, I can buy more robots.

No, it's a campaign book and it adds mostly Space Marines.

Thanks, I'll spend my money elsewhere...

Back to the endless calculations on this Magos Prime. I've spent more time on this one pointsink than I have in the rest of my army, but I need a guy I can field at different point levels, so I can run the army as I build it up.

Generally important. But it does depend upon the mission you're playing.

Read the rules of the game 1st, THEN build armies for HH.

Yeah, it's so much more fun to build build build. There's just so many special rules that my 10th Edition 40k brain refuses to work.

EDIT
Unless I get a sizeable windfall this year. This army is now theoretical only.
