How would you model Inquisitorial Stormtroopers?

Would you use Kasrkin or Tempestus Scions as an Inquistiorial Stormtrooper?

We're breaking out the old Dark Heresy books, and we have to bring our own models.

Both should work. Whatever you think looks better.

I’d go with the Kasrkin if we are sticking with modern models, but that’s from my eye.

If I had to bring a mini for one, I’d grab an old metal, as that’s what I have on hand.

I’d use Scions. I think they’re more lore accurate and more closely resemble the old 3rd edition metal stormtroopers that appeared in the Daemonhunters and Witch Hunters codices.

If it was me I think I'd go with Kasrkin as I prefer their Carapace Armour over the big giant cuirass of the Tempestus Scions. In fact I'd rather go with the bodies and armour of the Aquilons over the Scions and it's a close run thing between the Kasrkin and the Aquilons.

Kasrkin have the disadvantage of being a head taller than everyone else.

I'd hit up eBay for real 3rd ed. Stormtroopers.

Would that necessarily be a bad thing in this instance? I think some Inquisitors would prefer to have a big intimidating brickhouse soldier man Stormtrooper in his retinue so being a head taller might not be an issue.
