20 minutes walk to a really nice shop. I don't play there, but they've got a great selection, a decent discount and really friendly staff. It's not as common here to play at the shop I think - floor space is generally at a premium in European cities with smaller buildings and I think generally higher rents.
I don't have a club but I play at my work (a school) with my buddy who is a colleague. It's about a 30 minute drive from my house. I'd play at home but my family situation means it'd be a bit complicated and my apartment is fairly small anyway.

This is why I need a small army for gaming.
Yuck. Ya, I have almost a 2 hour drive to Jax, well had when I was still playing. Decided it just wasn't worth it anymore. When I do get a chance to play I play with a close group of friends. We schedule it well ahead of the chosen game day

There used to be so many more game stores closer to my place. Sadly they all closed over the last 10 years. The closest is about an hour away by bus, and not that easy to get to since they moved to a bigger location.
There are still a few closer stores to where I live now that sell Warhammer but all their gaming space is for Magic and other card games. Not so much miniature games.

EDIT-so I'm now entering year 2 back in India and remain shocked how there is no gaming culture I can find. No D&D, no mini wargaming, not even Magic and CCGs. Computer games yes, but not table top.
Much less than China or Egypt even.
Not even model building that I can find.
