Okay, I'm in this month with a familiar (the penultimate sidekick)



I had an extra one in my bitzbox that was primed white (don't know how that happened, as I prime everything black), so I'm gonna try that yellow technique where you paint everything pink first. I have a blue one already and I figure my other very Tzeentchy walking book should be yellow. We'll see how this experiment turns out

Oh, man, I love me some Chaos Familiars!

What is scatter terrain but a sidekick to all of the buildings, towers, and ruins on the table. With that in mind I plan on painting up these treasure markers to be used in Forbidden Psalms.

Okay, so I'm trying the "yellow primed with pink" trick and my first thought is that he looks like the littlest pink horror



I'm half-tempted to paint him as a teeny tiny pink horror, but I'm committing to the original plan.
Maybe my third one will get the pinkie treatment

So the vampires might be in charge, all high, mighty, and noble. But someone needs to keep all those skeletons marching in the right direction. You need someone who’s dedication crosses the threshold of death. Enter the wight kings. It might not be all challenges and blood feats, but these loyal sidekicks keep everyone shambling in the right direction.

So these guys were a bit of fun. The instructions for the old guy with the crown tell you to cut the rim off his square base and glue him onto a 32. So a bit dated. I just used a 3d print and GS to get him to the right size. The rest of them are from the Cursed City box, which is chock full of nice ETB minis. Bit more detail on these guys, but otherwise just more executing my soulblight paint scheme on them. Nice to break up the paint queue.

Better late than never, I've finally made some progress on my entry:

At this point it'll take a miracle for me to actually finish in time, but I'll give it the old college try. The bases may not be done in the final pics at least.
