Catalyst Game Labs is about to launch a My Hero Academia miniatures game crowdfunding campaign.

The minis will be pre-built and pre-painted PVC figures from the same place their Battletech minis are coming from.

Guessing the pre-paints in some of the Battletech packs were a test for this.

I really doubt this will be good, but my daughter and I watch the show together so there's a pretty decent chance I pick it up.

If I ever catch wind of a Bubblegum Crisis game I will jump around like The Mask. The models for this game look crazy-fun though.

Casual gaming, mostly solo-coop these days.

Huh, ok. Unexpected!

I’m curious how it plays, I like superhero games. So I will want to try it. Does depend a bit on the price.

Being pre paint is probably good for the target audience as well.

My youngest is going to freak out when he sees this. I definitely need to pick this up.

Hmm yes. A nice little BGC skirmish game would be amazing. I'd settle just for miniatures even without the game, truthfully.

Huh. Catalyst can make good minis.

I'll wait for the Vigilantes expansion.

I think I've seen prints somewhere

Hopefully this means my dream of a One Piece skirmish game has become slightly less unlikely!

My daughter and I both love MHA and this is a likely purchase. The only thing we’re both disappointed by, is the pre-assembly and prepaints.
I might have to give these a touch up if they need it.

I believe Papiskel (on Myminifactory) has some .stl files for the models you could get printed in whatever scale you want. I believe they are referred to as Cyberbabe

Won't the Admirals be like playing Titans in Warhammer?

That depends very much when you're talking. Things have gotten wild in the last year or so.

The preview page makes the rules sound absolutely fine. Depending on price, component quality, etc... this could actually be a winner. Seems accessible and fast, but not utterly without tactics/options.

I'm not instantly sold, but I will absolutely be paying attention.

It's not just the Admirals, there's quite a few ludicrously overpowered characters in the series.

I've no idea how it could be turned into a functioning, let alone balanced, game without nerfing or excluding a lot of fan favourites, but I'd like to see someone try!
