As I have basically finished the army in my Eldar PLog and figured I would show the painted models here. I actually stripped and repainted all of these models from their scheme when I acquired them.

Avatar of Kaine

With the blue background
Spoiler:

I had the original smaller model, when this one came out, the little one was stripped for parts and the body is long gone.

More to come.

Cheers,

CB

As suggested was made, photos taken with a black background. I have done that the blue backgrounds are accessible through the spoiler tags.

90's style Eldar paint jobs.

Then best.

Love the colour transitions on the Avatar from red to yellow, very smooth.

They look great. Nice colours. It is testament to the original sculpts that they still hold up today when compared to the amazing new sculpts.

If I can make a crit. The photos would look way better if you took the picture on a neutral background. Dark grey or something. Let the colours of the mini shine, not the background.

Love these so far, keep them coming!

… any chance you can ditch the blue background and use black instead?

vim_the_good, VanHallan, and Karak Norn Clansman thank you for the comments. And the suggestion, I think it was a good one.

Photographing the photos with a black background new…my old cheep light box does no have that option. I was wondering if that was why my figures seem to have had color changes. You can see those under the spoiler tag. Let me know which people prefer.

Next is the original Farseer model. Being young and foolish I converted him and replaced his pointing had with a Shuriken pistol. There was a spear for a while, (from the original Avatar model) but it made the figure even more out of place and unbalanced. Over the last few years I have been trying to find an original figure to replace this one, but the prices have been too high to justify the change. I think a plastic right had with no weapon might work, I just do not have one.

Then the next version of Farseer with a spear. Always finicky, I have pinned it with a brass rod to stop it breaking off.

A picture of a converted Farseer. This one was missing the weapon hand and spear. So I used a weapon and some wings from a bag of loose bits bought on eBay and here is a Farseer with Faolchu's Wing
