Is it a War/Warp Smith? Or is it Perturabo? The "claws" look too big, and the "scenic base" also says Perturabo - but that shoulder pad looks just too small for a Primarch in Primarch Terminator armor. Honsou?

My WHFB armies were Bretonians and Tomb Kings.

I’m confident it’s…..

Pertruabo, Defiler, Mutilators and IW Upgrade sprue.

The final image in the teaser shows the symbol for the Cadian Gate, broken. That I think is telling us where Peter Turbo is turning up.

You don't think it came from all the same model? I thought they were implying it was all one model.

So…it’s not Peter Turbo. It’s a young (2000 years old) upstart Warsmith.

And it was from more than one model The shoulderpads aren't the same.

I don’t know if I like it or hate it, it’s busy. It’s maybe the little extra bits hanging off the armor that throws me off it.

Its been an issue for a few years now, but I've really gone off GW's painting style.

Its all about showing these extreme highlights that you can see on these blown up A4 page size pictures. Which is fine I guess (and edge highlighting certainly improved my painting) - but it really emphasizes the "busyness" of the model - and I find my eyes struggle to identify where they are meant to be focusing.

So what exactly is the Warsmith armed with? Thunderhammer, power fist, storm bolter, servo arm, flamer equivalent, and mechandrites?

Yes?

I suspect he’ll have 2 melee profiles, a “hammer and fist” one that hits like you’d expect a TH to hit, but a little beefier. And a mechendrites attack with a bunch of extra attacks good for chaff clearing.

And 2 shooting attacks.

I suspect the Hammer and Fist profile will be 5ish Attacks probably Fist profile, twin linked, or he'll get to choose Hammer or Fist. He'll also have at least a couple EXTRA ATTACKS weapons 1A from the Servo Arm, and a couple-few from the Mechadendrites. Or the Mechadendrites may be skipped entirely like they did with the Techmarine. It could also be that hammer is a Power Maul not a Thunder Hammer.

I believe it was specifically called out in the article showing off Mr Warsmith that it is "...his personally-crafted thunder hammer"

This is, emphatically, why I will continue suggesting nuking Guard and starting over again. It's a legacy army that needs to be rebooted with a new focal point.

Confirmation of why no-one should listen to Kanluwen when it comes to the IG - he doesn't want the IG, he want's Kan's New Model Army...

Ten bucks says we get something Cadian to go with the IW, since the Cadian Gate symbol was in the teaser.

The thing about 40k is that no one person can grasp the fullness of it.

Between the Red Corsairs and these Iron Warriors? Chaos is getting some gorgeous sculpts out of this.

I still think the Apothecary Dude is the best of the bunch, but not by a huge amount.
