Very lighthanded touch here as opposed to 1.5, my guess is we won't have a hard shakeup of the game till the second edition drops probably next year (although TOW being on a 4 or 5 year cycle would be nice too).

Seems they want to keep the stability of the game going as opposed to 40k that feels like it's constantly changing.

Just want them to bring back legacy armies with how they are treating Custodes in 30k/40k.

Not gonna happen and a different situation entirely. Custodes were never a "Legacy" army, they only got a Legacy PDF as a get you by because they weren't ready to release the full book. That was outright stated when the PDF dropped.

I get that - I didn't mean it in that context only in the model sense. Even if that means legacy continues to be legacy (not my preference) but they encourage AoS models to be used in TOW perhaps in the interest of conversions. Going back to it's roots is what that would feel like to me which TOW already feels like with conversion ideas using existing kits.
