Personally I saw no real problem with the name Goonhammer. It was catchy. I get that there are negative connotations with "gooning" and all that (stupid perverts ruining things for everyone else, grrr), but the name had a certain ring to it. When I first saw the name change, I had to check the date and make sure it wasn't April 1st. Sadly, no.  I'm not sure I can think of another name that would be as catchy.
