Just finished building and basing all the Armegeddon box set ready for priming. Got a few bits primed already. Starting painting this weekend.

I've been cutting bits off of donated sprews at my LGS in return for a handful of the bits in the bits box ( although probably isn't a box anymore, considering it takes up a whole table's section worth of wall ), and presented a present to the owner of the establishment. I personally think this miniature is my finest work yet!

Brought my MCP back from my FLGS where it has been on display the last 3 years, to keep here at home as it was too much for the display cabinet.

Made a preliminary build of my DKOK Sentinel. The kit required too much cleanup, so just blu-tacked it together for now, will clean those mold lines during my next session with it, then glue the cleaned bits in place.

I am really a fan of the new Sentinel kit! Think I might have to buy another one. I want to make the cabin top interchangeable so that I can field it both as armoured or as a scout Sentinel. Will kitbash the pilot from the DKOK command squad kit, that helmetless head should fit the bill nicely..

Years ago when money was tight I had to sell some of my collection. I wasn't too heartbroken about selling a FW Phantom titan (unassembled atm) or the Armorcast Phantom (also unassembled and I had two others). What really hit me was selling my Armorcast Tyranids. Ever since I sold the four of them their prices have skyrocketed and I couldn't justify buying them again, especially the Dactylis, which are few and far between.

Well, found the STL files to print up all four. Already have the Exocrine done, working on a Haruspex. Unsure if I should base them or not, as their footprint would leave very little left for a 120x92mm base that the current models have.

It was the kids' miniature gaming club today. They played 500pts of Independent Inquisition ked by Attelus Kaltos, Karmen Kons and Adrassil Dellenger (it's weird using that name that as I took his name way, way back in the day for forums as he was one of the main characters of my story series The Quest for Velrosia I wrote as a teenager into several 1b5 exercise books) vs 500pts of The Crew of Orray and Company led by the main character of my sci fi novel Azakir Halgriv in his Infiltration suit. Victory went to The Crew, Attelus and Azakir are really in a rivalry now, lol

When I got home I did more work painting my Mechazoid Sokorentai.

"The best way to lie is to tell the truth." Attelus Kaltos.
My story! Secret War
After his organisation is hired to hunt down an influential gang leader on the Hive world, Omnartus. Attelus Kaltos is embroiled deeper into the complex world of the Assassin. This is the job which will change him, for better or for worse. Forevermore. Chapter 1.

The Angaran Chronicles: Hamar Noir. After coming back from a dangerous mission which left his friend and partner, the werewolf: Emilia in a coma. Anargrin is sent on another mission: to hunt down a rogue vampire. A rogue vampire with no consistent modus operandi and who is exceedingly good at hiding its tracks. So much so even the veteran Anargrin is forced into desperate speculation. But worst of all: drive him into desperate measures. Measures which drives Anargrin to wonder; does the ends, justify the means?

I got done 3D printing and assembling a Redempter Dreadnought, along with basing it. Now all it needs is to be primed and painted. I'll add a photo later when I have time to my blog.

Building 1k pts of Votaan.

Gah, I hate building these tiny dwarves who're cut into jigsaw puzzle pieces....

Inspiration struck, so I started pulling together different color swatches for a v3 of my color scheme for my Leagues of Votann army. Bouncing ideas off of my wife is fun.

Then I pulled out the Combat Patrol that I've had in my pile of shame for a long while, looked over the bits, and ordered some more Einhyr Hearthguard helmets. I have no idea why GW didn't give the Champion a helmet. I know that dwarves are hard-headed, but a mass accelerated charge with no helmet seems a bit much.

Practically finished my Mechazoid Sokorentai today. Just have to paint his sword and the light parts on him and maybe push the highlights a bit further (and finish basing him, of course) Very happy with him so far!

Went to origins game fair last minute as tickets dumped to $20 on Saturday since Sunday is the last day, and I picked up a bunch of TTcombat paints. They had a really good deal where it was 7 bottles of any paint on the rack for $20. Came out to around $3 per bottle which is a really good deal.

Finally built one of mine from the Armageddon Battalion. It's so dinky and cute.

I can see a squadron of these barreling around taking on a Speed Freaks warband.

Picked up my Armageddon box on launch day, and I've been working my way through assembling the minis (the Marines are getting the customary DA bling and a few part swaps to tie them in with my army).

Dark Angels: ~17000 Astra Militarum: ~2500 | Imperial Knights: ~2300 | Leagues of Votann: ~3000 | Orks: ~1000 | Stormcast Eternals: ~6000 | Kruleboyz: ~2800 | Lumineth Realm-Lords: ~2400 | Tomb Kings: ~4800

Friday, I picked up my Mandalorian Special Edition box, Mandalorian Leaders, and Leaders of the Shadow Collective.
Printed off the Mandalorian cards & errata cards, cut & trimmed them.
Still need to sleeve, but that can wait.
I also got a set of Republic Clone Commandos.

Saturday, assembled 2 Adepticon 2013 limited edition metal Torgo beastmen and their accompanying squad of 6 metal modular beastmen. These were from Victoria Miniatures.
Fingers are still killing me from the pin vise.

Sunday, Primed the Torgo Squad.

Today I hope to get the painting going, see if I can get them done by end of month for the painting challenge.

Sentinel almost built to final subassemblies (cockpit, waist, legs). Need to source a second "safety frame" in order to magnetize the build to be both scout Sentinel and armoured one with a single model. Also need to kitbash that pilot together from the DKoK Command Squad kit bits.. but most everything else is cleaned and glued in place

A few days back I finally got started on a 3D printing project I've procrastinated at starting for almost 4 years. A Warbrigner titan, done in some extent to look "Armorcast-like".

It won't be completely Armorcast in style, more like a Hybrid between the Armorcast and FW styles. Why? Well, for starters I HATE building Reavers below the knees, and that's where the Armorcast style will be most noticeable. I'm also likely to have the weapons be a bit 90's inspired, with the torso, head, and pelvis being FW looking.

I did a similar blend with a Reaver Titan, and it's one of my favorite titans.
