Decided to take this challenge on. It took me a while to figure out the correct scaling, but when I did the print ended up having the same diameter turret ring as a Predator. I had a spare Predator turret sprue, this looks like an improvement to me, so I went this route. In this pic the main turret piece is 3D printed, but I have a spare plastic Predator turret on standby, with Lascannon and Meltagun.

Um, no. The Imperial Guard just got a new vehicle that actually looks like this (Hippogriff), so that's what it will be.

Oh right, I remember, the half track one. Yeah, this one looks a lot better than the official version for sure. I think you could add just a few more bits to make it look more 40k, just a bit more unnecessary complexity on the armor or some exhaust chimneys on the back.

The Hippogriff did look a little plain, so Bits for the Bits God. I added a tow cable, a few armor plates, and some do-dads. The side view ports were also a bit on the simple side, so I sliced them off and replaced them with view ports from the Baneblade kit. Rear-view added. Don't judge on the wheel alignment. Very little of it is actually glued together right now and the hull is balancing on the friction of the wheels on the axels.

Did some digging through the bits box and found a 100% intact Predator Turret sprue. Why have one Hippogriff when you can have three?

A few More bits added to the original, and the new one with the GW turret has had the left Lascannon barrel replaced with a Meltagun from the Rogal Dorn kit. Turret #3 is a WIP.
