Don't get me wrong on this, but this looks very old school. The Protoss got a styleupgrade, maybe they should have looked like that, but the engine back in the days couldn't represent them like Blizzard wanted. Other than that the units are still the same and I don't see cool standards like destroyable terrain (company of heroes) in it. But I have faith in Blizzard that it will simply rock due to supreme balancing and dense campaign atmosphere. I hope it won't turn out to be like this horrible Warcraft 3. My good was that bad! (sorry, didn't want to start a flamewar here...) Greets Schepp himself EDIT: Hey look at page 25, it's that protoss thing from the intro of starcraft I... And seems Unit look different when you upgrade them or they gain XP (Dragoons in silver and golden, or marine with heraldy on their riotshields for example).

Official site, has 2 vids as of now, first one is opening cinematic trailer, second one shows artwork and some lovely gameplay footage. Enjoy!

I always like how Blizzard makes games so that they don't require $800 video cards and 4gigs of memory to run better then 15 fps.

Yeah. I loved Mark of Chaos... except for the hellaciously slow loading and intermittent lag during gameplay, as the excessive graphics demands tried to take more and more virtual memory. I don't bother to play it anymore, since I got tired of booting up the game then going away for ten minutes while it tried to load each scenario.
Put me squarely in the 'gameplay over graphics' camp.

I'm really looking forward to this game. The Hero system worked wonderfully in the single player campaign, but where it hurt was in multiplayer. Creep hunt early or die. It was that simple.

I'll buy SC2 for the storyline since the last one was a very entertaining piece of Sci-Fi but SupCom will still completely own me for gameplay. Who else gives me guns nearly the size of the eiffel tower, 20 metre tall mechs, a battleship tank thing and submarine aircraft carriers? All without it turning into a frantic click fest.

I'm not persuaded on MMO's. Imo, they lack a serious campaign feeling and are populated with stupid quests only to get xp. Baldurs Gate on the other hand, that's my style of roleplaying.
Well, after looking at the site I'm very exiting, the only thing that underwhelm me are the sound effects, the voice acting that is. They seem generic and too much "try to be mean". I'm happy to see that the Protoss seem to be even more elite than in Starcraft I.
