I never knew the vortex grenade was made of tin, unless it is another infamous GW typo.

I preordered the backpack at my GW store, and just put an order in for a few grenade templates. Don't know how many we may see in battle.. at $10 each, it's worth it for a few.


Also FYI. The Chaos large boxed set came with the Apocalypse vehicle upgrade sprue, which has the zainy defiler head.

Silly GW. Just getting pre orders up now? I've already got 33 orders for backpacks. Need to take a picture with everyone wearing/holding them.

Stores have been accepting orders for weeks now. Their webmaster is just one hamster... they need a gerbil.

Buy the back pack from the US store. Better stuff inside.

And order the backpack early. They did a large amount for the US, but it's a great item, and quite likely to sell out.

The main difference for me is the tin of dice and the backpack. I don't really want either of those two items, just the template and book. I can get that for less money, so why bother?

I got me a backpack, but depending on how popular they are, it may end up on eBay.  I found a messenger bag at Target last year with a two-headed eagle on it, so I've been using that.

Acutally I'm hairy enough to be a badger. We can only post Advanced Orders 4 weeks ahead of the release of the product due to various technical reasons with our systems. Trust me, we would offer them earlier if we could.
