.................................... Searching for Iscandar

I can no longer browse down using their search feature to get to specific categories of items.

Here's an example of utter corporate stupidity, change for changes sake not to make customers happy:

Search for say 'Warhammer 40k'. A whole gak load of items appears.

Now click on any 40k item.

Now click on ANY link past 'Miniatures, War Games'. Like say Warhammer, 40k, Space Marines, etc.

Gee, I get redirected AWAY from what I want to see, to a whole bunch of crap I don't want to.

Puzzle games?! WHAT THE F.

Personally I'm glad they've effed this up, now maybe another site which specializes in Warhammer items will get some business.

Combine with new fees, and I see myself making my way to those other sites.

Enjoy selling on ebay, I know if I can't browse through I'm not going to bother with buying anything off ebay.

Uber. I can do this on IE5, IE6, and Mozilla but it works properly on IE7 on Vista.

/Sigh

I wonder if you just caught their servers resetting or something as I cant replicate this...

http://toys.search.ebay.com/warhammer_Warhammer_W0QQfromZR34QQsacatZ31398

gave me a space marine item, clicking the space marine link as you described gave me...

http://toys.listings.ebay.com/40K_Space-Marines_W0QQfclZ3QQfromZR11QQsacatZ44124QQsocmdZListingItemList

which looks very on topic to me, and I dont see any unrelated junk? Do you have some strange filter settings under your search options perhaps? I am searching worldwide with all 'Show Only' checkboxes unchecked.

I think there was an article that eBay has had some definite server hiccups the last couple days... I'll post it if I see it again.

Working on someting you'll either love or hate. Hopefully to be revealed by November.

Tried it with Firefox on Vista and can't replicate it, either.

1. Examine a process that's been around ages (Quality Control).
2. Rename said process. Make it catchy, cool and fun to say (Six Sigma).
3. ??????

Profit!

What's funny is that you can ask people who've gone away to those plush "intensive" Six Sigma weekend seminars about what makes the process better/unique/different from what they're already doing and they can't really quantify it. LOL. If only I was that good of a bamboozler, I wouldn't have to wring my hands over Forge World prices.

Years ago I was chatting with my brother (a bright quantitative marketing type) about Six Sigma. He was at Motorola at the time. He basically said, "yeah, where is that Six Sigma stuff from and what's it all about, anyway?" I did a quick internet search and told him it originated at his company. We both laughed.

We think we're so evolved from the snake oil days but we really aren't.
