i was wondering, does the Salamander conversion have to have a Basilisk kit to complete it, or would a Chimera kit work?

and if anyone has purchased the complete kit from FW, what does it come with? like accessory sprue for example.

Isn't the Basilisk on a Chimera hull anyway? I don't have a Basilisk, so I'm not sure.

Yakface should know, but from my experience with the other Chimera conversion kits (such as Manticores and the Enclosed Basilisk), a Basilisk kit was not required, only a Chimera kit.

Even the Enclosed Basilisk was all resin - even the gun.

the reason i said a Basilisk kit was because that's what the FW web sight said was required?

the only thing i could think of was maybe the deck plate that the Earthshaker sets on would be required.

has nobody purchased one?

I've seen ebay auctions and it shows the crew compartment on the back is basically a big tub.
