Don't suppose anyone can give me a run down of what's on the site? Can't see it from work.

Well its kinda hard because it is a whole web site, but the news is that they've already got an erratta up, along with demo adventures and rule previews.

Go FFG go!!

I was mostly curious about the release schedule. Is it pretty solid? We got Rogue Trader and Adeptus Astartes still coming?

Man. I am more and more impressed by Fantasy Flight Games as time goes by. While some of their stuff hasn't hit my button, it was never actually 'bad'.

The quality of their product is excellent as well. Their board games are gorgeous and got good rules to boot.

I got the 3 new books yesterday and can recommend all of them without hesitation.

"Purge..." is a series of linked adventures which all seem cool enough, some ncie maps in there too and, and this actually made me giggle with nerdglee it has stats for some dark Eldar and weaponry and a full on Space marine with thunder hammer and Bolt pistol.

The handbook has additional and expanded origines-- including mindwiped pcs, new career paths you can take,SoB career and rules and a whole host of weapons, armour, wargear etc-- including graviton gun, plasma cannon, powerfist etc-- and some notes on running the game and expanded skill usage rules. I'd go so far as to say this rreally is an almost compulsory purchase if you're planning on ever running a game. Only criticism would be releasing it now as opposed to earlier.

Thousand thrones is a fairly epic WFRP campaign that utilises rules and ideas from most of the cooler sourcebooks and has a plethora of maps, handouts etc. Perhaps nott quite as epic as the old Enemy Within campaign, but the closest I've seen to a successor yet.

As/when they come out septic side of the pond I'd snap them up ASAP.

The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.

Mmmmm, can't wait for the Inq book and Purge. So much gaming goodness in those books according to FFG forum goers.

Hope they keep the books rolling(at their current quality level) I love the 40k setting and DH has pretty much completely replaced D&D in my gaming group. Not sure if it will hold up like that after 4E release and the digital table top comes out(might end up being 50% D&D/ 50% DH at that point), but only time will tell or a release of the future product list for DH.

Cool, I'm thinking of getting my 40k/deadlands group to try this out here. What type of die system is it? D20, various, or D6?

Ah good.

Amazon shipped my GM's Shield (probably the most nerdy thing I've ever bought!) the other day, two months after I ordered it, and they still haven't shipped my second copy of the Dark Heresy rulebook, which I bought for a friend who's in jail.

(Yeah that sounded just as weird when I typed it as when you read it.)

Anyway, it's good to see these two new releases finally out. I'll definately be ordering them.

Glad you recognized it. Not knowing your friend's circumstances, i'll refrain from witty quips about giving RPG materials covering the grim dark future of 40k to convicts

Anyway, It's hard to express how happy I am that FFG has picked up the Dark Heresy line--I mean, they even have clear and concise errata! Maybe GW could just farm out their rulebooks & errata development to FFG too? I mean, I've played Descent and Doom and thoroughly enjoyed both.

Wow your work is strickter than Red China. You should tell your IT department.

The only releases up are Purge the Unclean (adventures) and Handbook (more stuff). No word on the Rogue Trader and Xenos books.

Holy f***ing hell!

I just went to order the two new books, and the shipping was more than the cost of the two items added together. No way I'm paying US$75 for shipping to Australia.

Screw that... I'll try somewhere else.

Nice move, there, Blackheart.
You just caused Dakka to be put on China's "Watch list."

Now, the whole dang country is going to have Dakka blocked because you said things about Tibetan Monk massacres that simply AREN'T true. <G>
