As part of the 25th anniversary malarky if you call GW mail order they will give you a quiz of 5 questions relating to the WFB fluff and you win a prize for each one you get right.

I tried a couple of days ago and got 4/5, the guy said they would pop "4 random bitz" in the post. Sounds good I thought, the quiz was quite fun and the mail order guy eternally cheerful and friendly despite admitting he was never gonna get away on time due to the influx of calls about this.

Anywoo a packet arrived yesterday containing....1 battegear pin badge, 1 battlegear key ring, 1 lotr Gimli on dead Urukhai and 1 Gamesday Sgt Aurelius!

Needless to say I'm chuffed, what a great little promo. They are obviously getting rid of a pile of stuff they no longer sell but its a nice way to do it.

They also have big bags of stuff to bid for auction style.

Anyone else done this?

Yeah, I had just gotten off the phone with them and asked them directly about the quiz. Guy said, that's in the UK. Also, Sleazy's now marked for EU.

Friend of mine tried it and got Sgt Aurelius, scout w/ missle launcher, 2002 GD chaos champ and 2 (?) GD Rune Priests.

Another good haul. Hopefully I can blag his spare rune priest.

Dunno if they would allow it but if any USA dakkites were to call and win something cool, could they not just use one of us UK dakkites address and we could forward it? (or would that open a huge can o worms?)
