I saw on Tabletop Gaming News that folks in the UK can pre-order the various versions of 5th edition 40K, but does anyone know when we'll be able to do it on the GW US site?

The Advance Orders are up now, under the Warhammer 40,000 Advance Orders section of the 40K drop down menu.

Unfortunately they are currently at $95, when they should be $90. Our Global team have been notified and will hopefully correct the price ASAP. Keep an eye on it. When the price hits $90, Advance Order away.

LOL I preorded it already at the $95 price. How do I go about correcting that after the fact? Call in to GW or just cancel and redo the order?

1500 pt armies for $220 to $240? That's a pretty decent price point.

It is interesting how GW seems to be very light on dudes for 5th Edition armies. I'd have expected at least 3 mobile Troops per army.

What about the 5th Ed Rulebook, White Dwarf says $45 dollars, the website says $50?

@ Talthar - You're welcome, I pre-ordered my Gamers Edition today at the Glen Burnie Bunker.

@ Capt K - Nope, it's the same weekend as Baltimore Games Day so I'll be wrangling a few thousand staff and hobbyists in Maryland : )

@ smart_alex - Sorry, not sure about that one either.

@ temprus - Should have been $50 in White Dwarf. Amazingly enough, even though those pages were checked by half a dozen folks with the correct info, they didn't pick up on it until it was printed. I guess mistakes are that much easier to spot once you can't change them ; )

I already have my copies ordered through my LGS

I need the Gamer Edition, but the US site bugs out every time I try to confirm an order. Probably because I'm in Canada, but the new site made it look like that was going to be possible.

It's not up on the GW Canada site yet, as far as I can tell, and my LGS (of which I am an employee of) the boss can't confirm that we will be getting any. As it is our GW stuff never comes in on time anymore...usually 2 to 3 weeks late.

I note that as of 2 weeks ago, the gamers edition book is no longer available from GW US online.
And just checked my current order with them. The collectors edition book is now listed as "no longer available"

GW CA has some gamer's editions left. But it's gonna cost you 100 CDN and another 10 CDN for shipping. Damn, shoulda ordered one when I had the chance.

Check your local store. My store is getting 20, of which 17 are already pre-ordered by customers (3 left).
