I'm sitting here sitting typing this with an ice pack on my chin because I decided to learn how to breakdance tonight... via youtube.

Lets start woth the worm. I push up, ok, drop the chest and kick up the legs, over balance and smack my chin into the floor.
I've never been knocked out from a punch to the chin/jaw but I reckon I was close tonight.
Now a big bruise on the end of my chin and very painful temporomandibular joints.

I'm off to paediatric neurosurgery next week and will tell the kids I'm a part time bounty hunter and got the bruise apprehending an meth head....

They stil breakdance? I thought that disappeared along with my daily prison sentence known as high school back in the Jurassic Age.

I have a friend pete who's party trick is getting really drunk and declaring that he can breakdance (he can't!)
every body gets a good laugh! he does however have a talent at getting other people to have a go.

One time we were on a group holiday and at about 4 in the morning he was showing off to the girls! but then he managed to get all of the girls watching to have a go at spinning, the turtle or something he called it haha, anyway I think 3 out of the 5-6 girls hurt themselves... next morning they were showing off bruises like trophies!

We are all between 25 and 30 years old...

I guess Oceania is finally catching up with the 80's. Strap in, it's going to be a bumpy ride.

Last time I was out at a club, there were a couple of guys break dancing. All in all, it does look cool when you know what you're doing. When you don't, well...its painful. Invest in an instructor...that or take this as a lesson and "get back on the horse" as they say over here. In either case, you can live your dizzying spinning dreams of whipping your body around like you were in a blender for the amusement of all.

I just hope you are not prone to motion sickness.

I tried to pull the worm when I was out at a club with a concrete floor, proper hurt my knees. Got away with it though, it was loud so no one heard my kneecaps shatter.

Day 2 of my epic bvoyage and I decide it would be a great idea to eat half a watermelon for luch.

1 hour and about 4 kilo's of watermelon later and I was feeling pretty ordinary.
5 hours after finishing and I'm only just starting to feel ok.

Note to the kids out there: If your meal is larger than your head, don't try to eat it in one sitting....

Breakdancing had a recent resurgence in the Asian American community, at least in the Southeast.

About six years ago I saw a dude breakdancing in a club, and he lost a fully-laced-up high-top sneaker. That had to have hurt.
