Bung me on your ingnore list, and see if it works.

Ignore does not affect PMs. Only I can lock out someone sending a PM to someone else (to counter spammers).

An ignore button for PMs is coming in the future yes.

One would think that "Ignore" would apply to both Posts in the Forum *and* PMs...

I left it out of the PMs (and it will take an additional button) so that people can have a private discussion, even if one has ignored the other. There have been a couple of instances of people accidentally clicking 'ignore' and then not responding to requests from someone who they didnt mean to ignore. These have generally been resolved by the ignored person PMing the person who clicked ignore and then getting un-ignored by them.

Basically doing it this long winded way helps prevent accidental ignores that would otherwise go unnoticed, and adds a layer of protection/verification that would not be there using a simple ignore=ignore everything rule.

Maybe it's easier to have a self-PM that says "You Ignored so-and-so"?

It doesnt make a huge difference in terms of time to implement. I'll be implementing it sometime in November or December (once the new gallery stuff is finally finished and released) so I'll think it through in more detail then
