well i only have internet at work and i cant go to blizzard to look so does anyone here know when diablo 3 comes out?

For them to drag on development for 5-7 years, then cancel the project.

World of Warcraft was originally announced as a single-player adventure game in which you played a young Orc chieftain or something like that. Different decade, different engine. I don't even think it was even meant to be 3d rendered. Cancel, bam, new project, World of Onlinecash.
Hopefully Diablo 3 won't 'accidently' turn into a single player 2D FPS or anything.
But as I've said, if D3 is subscription based I'm going to go on the most literal sort of axe rampage.

I think most people will be Arctik. I'd hate the Single Player to be free, but Battle.Net games a monthly thing.

I wouldn't be... as Battle.Net is worse than Mos Eisley on the "hive-of-scum-and-villainy" scale. Cyberneticly burn it down, salt the servers with virtual salt, and move on.

Move on to what? Blizzard could become a public service... Like water, or electricity. Then you get the bill at the end of the month. "What? I don't want a thousand litres of water! Fie on you!"

Battle.net was scary if you were a puss, or followed people who said, 'follow me'.

Yeah, they did. ArenaNet did it with Guild Wars. What's even more "shocking" is that ArenaNet was made by Blizzard deserters. Ta-daa, we have the 2nd best (as in: popular) MMORPG in the world. But then AoC and WAR butt in and steal away the pride.
