I just browsing the internetz when I happened across an ad for Alone in the Dark: Inferno. I keep searching for information on this game, but cannot seem to find much information on it so I am wondering...what the heck is it? I had purchased Alone in the dark and was honestly disappointed. Had some great graphics and cut scenes, but the game's controls mainly let me down. Now after seeing some trailers for this inferno release I honestly don't really see anything new from the first game. Did they just rehash the controls and re-release the game in response to the bad reviews they got or did they actually add something to the game? If so I am actually surprised to see a company so sore about their reviews that they actually re-release it...

Regardless though, after the first one I think I'll skip this inferno release anyway.

Quoth wikipedia:
"Alone in the Dark: Inferno is the PlayStation 3 version of the game, which was announced at the 2008 Games Convention in Leipzig. It addresses a number of gameplay issues found in the Xbox 360 version, such as the additions of full 360° camera control, a more zoomed-out third-person camera view, a more user-friendly inventory system and tighter driving mechanics. It will also include an exclusive new gameplay sequence found in Episode 6. The Demo was released on the Playstion Network on November/1/2008."

Thanks. Ironically I checked out wikipedia and couldn't find that for whatever reason. Its still not gonna be worth the 50-60 dollar price tag though.

True. It's still a revised version of a remake of a game that originally had problems.
