I'm collecting yu jing and I'm planning a display terrain with new tokyo feel and style so I have to say the Yujing on this november update is just so freaking unbelievable that I'm speechless But the others minis are cool also... check them out.

Just to get it out of the way, the reverend has a ridiculously oversized gun. And that's literally the only bad thing I can say about this lot. The sniper looks pretty nice in that pose, the Azra'il isn't bad and the motorcycle ninjas are beautiful (the bikes could be better, but on the whole, the models work).

Either I'm becoming more biased, or CB is improving their sculpts.

The supply does not get to make the demands.

Infinity...

Must resist...

These miniatures are awesome.

At this point, the only things stopping me from collecting a bunch are:

1) No local store that sells them
2) No local players into the game

Granted, that's a big two 'only' problems, but my resolve is weakening with each passing month's new releases...

This is the only thing preventing the Baton Rouge group I used to game with from playing. There's so many people interested in the game and the store manager is still not ordering stuff.

You can mail order from the Infinity website though shipping costs will obviously push the price up a bit.

The good thing about Infinity is you only need about 12 figures per side. The basic rules can be downloaded as a PDF.

Get together with a few friends, pick a faction each and a 12 man army and put a bulk order in to your FLGS.

We'd come up with the math that 10 Figures is the max your average army's Actication/Leadership can support properly that aren't "irregulars". The group doesn't want to mail-order them because they actually want to support the store more than they want to play the game(especially since the person pushing the game hardest works there).

From what I'd heard from my friend who works there(same guy as above), this was looked into for supplying the store, but apparently Neal has problems with restocking the game(a distribution problem, not anything to do with Neal), which is the main reason the manager won't carry it.

Once you had 10 figures you might like a few more to give your force some flexibility.

first off - curses to you Navarro!
I have hundreds of dollars of unpainted Yu Jing models (and now some nomads as well, still resisting the Pan Oceanics)
(otherwise, thanks for the great pics)

They have some really nice models, but I haven't played in over a year, as for the same reason, no one locally carries it, so no one / no where to game.

I've been buying my models from
http://strategiesgames.ca/
He hasn't been stocking it, but has gotten me all my orders (does custom orders monthly) and shipping is negligible.

I really like this range. Too bad they are so incompatible to GW scale wise. They would've been perfect for =I=munda stuff.

I bought a model a few weeks ago- I think it could fit in as an assassin in =][=munda, however its meant to have 2 small wings on its back (aeroplane type wings, not 'flap, flap' type wings. None in the store had the wings sprue.
Very frustrating. :(

Some are hit and miss but when they hit they are beautiful models.

Hot damn, those bikers .........

The gun on the first model is a no go, but then I also dislike the other quasi-religious models too (PanOc I think). The rest, either aces or pants-spoilingly good.

Been thinking about Infinity a lot on my walks to/from campus, as I find myself playing so much WHFB but with an undying sci-fi itch that 40k doesn't remotely scratch (somebody once called 40k science-fantasy, and I agree). I ... need to remain strong

The problem isn't so much the size as the proportion. The one mini I have, a Knight Hospitaller, doesn't much loom over my collection, but it's self evident that it's build to a different idea about how human bodies look like.

The first model is a little OTT, but the others are fantastic... I will have to find that sniper and one of those bikers just to paint; they're faaaantastic!

I love that sniper. I hate it when sniper models are standing up, it is so ridiculous.

Yeah. I also like how he's on his side, a position that I seem to recall is better than the ubiquitous "laying flat on your stomach" pose. Someone who didn't quit the army can probably tell you why.

If anyone wants to buy the minis at a decent price, as well as the rulebook (for the background only, for the rules you can just download) go to the following page:

www.frpgames.com

They sell pretty much anything, and the prices are decent

The most accurate stance for long range shooting is supposed to be lying on your back, with your feet pointing at the target. They use it at the Bisley Mile shoot (not sure they still do the mile shoot anymore.)

debating wether to jump into this game since it is relatively cheap to get a full army in. Can anyone give me some feedback on it?

I can only give some brief indications.

It's a real skirmish game where you have a squad and move/shoot one model at a time.

Shooting is very deadly and the reaction shot that enemies can get means you have to be careful about how you move and using cover.

It needs a dense terrain enviroment -- either an urban setting or a dense forest or something.

There have been a few nice battle reports posted on Dakka that will give you a feel for it.

The basic rules are available for download as a PDF and would be worth a read before you buy the full rulebook. You could play a few games using those and proxy figures.

Hm, the bikes look great

Though I am not too fond of the Azra`Il, looks ok but I didn´t have the impression that HaqI. needs even more antitank weapons...

We already have the Panzerfaust and I´d rather like to see/get minis that cover all of the different weapon variants from each of the existing squads not another new one

First of all, the people who wish to use Infinity miniatures as "counts as" troops for WH40K, are missing out on a truely marvelous experience....Infinity the game! However, its your money...so go hog-wild.

Secondly, those who are complaining about the "oversized" rifle on the Nun.....I only wish that GW respected a 10th of the scale and anatomical rules that Corvus does....I guess you'd find fault in these miniatures if you like your 7-8ft Marines with legs akimbo and a toe to head height similar to that of a squat!

I think the die hard GW WH40K fanatics will always throw dodo at anything that threatens the patch, however, and this is only my opinion, Infinity rules and miniatures are way in advance of GW offerings, for many reasons.....especially the sculptors ability to sculpt females in power armour!

The Infinity figures definitely are on a more exact 25mm scale than GW (though that nun's weapon is slowed for any company). I find that you can sneak Infinity figures into =][=munda type roles as humans of a slight build.

I really would like to see GW's sculptors take a hint from the Infinity line and make more proportional figures though. Those are really nice models, with or without a good game to go with them.
