It's a 40k issue above everything else. Probably, i suspect, because next month will be a Fantasy issue for Lizardmen. Anyway, for anyone interested...

Those 28 pages of battle reports are for 4 separate ones...

But no worries, I'm sure Zagstruk, Badrukk and the Battlewagon all perform quite well.

Not to mention squads of Nobs.

And possibly gretchin too...

The battlereports have some impressive scenery to them, that's for sure. Marines fight over a submarine factory, an airport and some huge traincannon and the outcome of these battles have an impact on the last fight. I didn't read the report, just saying the work put into the different scenery was nice.

There are some Gary Morely's in there too you know...

My least favorite are the mounted and the pointy guy, but the other two are pretty good.

The third hero is the only one I'm not a real fan of.

I have actually been inspired to create an all-grot combat patrol army! Gamewise it will be epic fail but I LOVE the models and they are nice and cheap, There will be a warboss, (either Masta Runtherd or some warboss shaped suit piloted by a grot) 1 or 2 Killa Kans (As they are piloted by grots) and lots of normal GROTTY goodness backed up by Big gunz batteries!

Yeah, it is a little masculine. Or are male elves a little girl like?

Depends if Morely crapped all over them or not.

How someone managed to persue their career as a sculptor for so long with absolutely no concept of human anatomy is a complete mystery to me.

He's a lovely bloke Gary Morley, and I wish him well, but the sculpts he produced are so often absolute donkey!

He left the firm months back now, so I really how this crap works through the system sometime soon!

Glad someone's done a brief review, they've put it in a plastic bag so I can't flick through it in the shop.

The last bunch of Dark Elf metals were poor as well and didn't really compare to the quality of the plastics. The sorceress "wreathed in smoke" was awful.

Anyway, back to White Dwarf, if you think those battle reports are predictable, what about the Andy Chambers vs Jervis Johnson years, when Jervis Johnson always lost.

Well, you could put a Splinter Pistol in the pointing guys hand to turn him into a Dark Eldar Lord and he and the Space Marine figures could point and yell at each other.

The Rider is the worst from the pics. And I 'hope' thats the little flying critters tail that the spearman is holding. It looks....odd like that.
