Do you mean for the turn by turn Maps.

I just take a photo after each turn.
I just hold the camera against the ceiling and click! Then I use photoshop to crop and straighten the edges, with the deform tool.
Its not that professional a tech, a bit messy, but it's quick and easy.

Installation is pretty straightforward if you follow the instructions given by vassal40k, then basically start a session offline and take screen shots after moving icons around.

How do we then post the pics? Do we need to use an image hosting site?

I've been using Photobucket but the recently created Dakka Gallery is really awesome! I used it for my last batrep and along with the other bonuses you know that if a user can get to Dakka they will be able to view the images. With Photobucket (or other offsite photo hosting) there's always the risk that the reader will be blocked from viewing the images.

P.S. I've always liked Visio for making my batreps but Vassal is free.
