Hi erm new to the site, I'm nearly finished collecting my blodd angels army...for the moment and I want to do something else and I was thinkin of collecting an impreial guard armoured company, never seen one used or played with one myself I was wondering if any one has, and can give me feedback? is it worth doing? or should I just collect a normal IG army?

Well, Armoured Company are basically an Apocalypse-only force right now, and with the new Imperial Guard codex coming up in April seeming to continue that trend by not having Armoured Company rules, if you want regular 40K games, you'd likely be better off collecting a regular Guard army.

If you like Chimeras & Valkyries, it seems likely that come April, you will be able to have an Imperial Guard army that is entirely mechanized with those two vehicles as a legal fieldable unit in 40K.

My advice for right now would be to hold off on buying much Imperial Guard of any kind until the new Codex hits the streets. Finish your Blood Angels off until then, and if your gaming group will let you, field them as different Marine chapters/lists for variety between then and now.

Super heavies are Super Heavy Detachments/Apocalypse only. The armored company list doesn't include any super heavies in the normal list.

Armored Company has a problem, as it auto-loses any Objectives mission because it lacks Scoring units (no non-Vehicle Troops).

KPs aren't as bad, but you'll pretty much be forced into trying to table your opponent.

If you want to field Superheavies, that's awesome for Apocalypse games. But you'll still need some non-vehicle Troops to take or hold Objectives.
