What is this? Some kind of joke?
look again. i pressed shift while hitting 8.
jeez. the basics of backgrounding.
my mother is half irish, half hungarian, my father is half scottish, half english. see?
Calm down. I was referring to a popular joke in the Uk which ussually starts an english man, an irishman and a scotsman walk into a bar... so when you said you were quarter english, scotish and irish, I therefore was inclined by my own dry wit to say "is this some kind of joke?"
Once, just to screw with someone I was applying for a job with against my will, for race I put Basque/Vendl. The Basque are people from mountainous regions of France and Spain and the Vendl are from mountains in the Scandinavian countries. Some fringe scientists claim that they are directly descended from Neanderthals. I didn't get the job and no inquiry was made, so I'm sure the reference went over the head of whomever read it. Next time, I think I'll just put Ork.
