No they shouldn't, they would have the guy that did the house of the dead movies, and it would just boil down to slaaneshi cult members at a rave.

And whilst you're pointing and shouting at the boogeyman in the corner, you're missing the burglar coming in through the window.
Well, Duh! Because they had a giant Mining ship. If you had a giant mining ship you would drill holes in everything too, before you'd destory it with a black hole |

His name's Uwe Boll. I blame the German movie industry as they're the one's who keep giving this man money.

Uwe is a filthy neo-nazi who gets his money from hidden nazi gold.
GW should not blow money on a movie that will blow anyway. If they want to waste money they should either build a bigger office with an even bigger golden marine statue out front or expand the LotR range even further.

I think there is sufficient background material in the 40K universe to build a good story, but I don't think a 40K movie project would attract the right writing talent to develop the material into anything approaching quality (Q. How many standout 40K novels are there? A. None). A 60 min computer animation is probably the best we can hope for.

No matter what you take in movie format it will divide opinions. The fans might disagree with the portrayal of their stuff, non-fans might become alienated by the background and producers will royally feth things over by making changes to the background to make it more feasible for Hollywood.

Thank you.
Also, wrong forum. This is neither news nor rumors. As we don't have a "threats" forum, I'm moving it to Discussions.

Trust me, no matter what damage they have the potential to do, single-shot weapons always flatter to deceive in 40k. Rule #1 - BBAP

We all know that books are better than films, i rather they release some new books than throw away money on a film.
ok, it could be good advertising and get a few more people into gaming, but it could also result in alot of young children being beaten out outside the cinny for watching it

they could do it, cheap to. just feed some film students pizza and beer while they make some sort of animation.
but honestly, any movie they made would probably end up like something scifi channel churns out
