Ok so what's up with Dental technology in the U.K. Why do I see so many people that just have bent, buck, crooked teeth?

i can tell you..... NHS.... enough said....

you still have to pau for dental stuff even through the NHS, and if you do see alot of people with imperfect mouths... your probubly thinking too haed about it.

Because you only notice the British people with bad teeth. The 99% of British people who's teeth are fine stunt your ability to post moronic threads on unrelated websites.

I could ask you a similar question, why do Americans insist on having such plastic looking, production line teeth? Perhaps British people are a little less shallow and vain, eh?

A serious note.. I can tell you that my dental plan sucks. My insurance never covers 100%. It's more like 60 to 70%. I get bills of $300.00 and $800 a lot.

I just wonder if dentists are charging too much.

Brush them twice a day, be conscience of what you're eating and perhaps brush a bit more often....

We're just not that bothered. They are teeth. A means to an end, namely chewing food. And thats about it.

So how come so many Americans think teeth are important, when being a big fat blubber butt is far more of a turn off?

Its nature vs. nurture. The British are born with perfectly acceptable teeth. unfortunately they are also born with a penchant for attending football games and drinking copious amount of beer. Far too often this leads to "hockey teeth." Hence the stereotype.
