I've had a lucky month with loads of painting time, allowing me to finish 2 units instead of my usual 1 unit per month rate. I was wondering what the average time spent painting is for the average dakkaite.

update: edited the poll to be 1-5 hours instead of 0-5 hours as 0 would be the previous answer.

Usually Paint an hour or so per day. Saturday, all afternoon... down at the club...

I put down the choice for never/rarely.

I seem to have a hard time getting motivated to paint.

I'd say I paint maybe once a month almost.

Up to 5 hours a week, possibly more when I am totally bored. Painting rarely takes up most of hobby time, I reserve that for scratch-building, then actual gaming.

I work a 9 to 10 hour day Monday through Friday,have a family( 2 VERY active children) & atempt to have some sort of personal life,painting is a "do as I can" sort of thing.
I try to paint at least an hour 3 nights a week during the work week,and can usauly squeeze in about 6 hours on the weekend( 3 each day),this is why I still have about 90 "nekid" Orkz sitting on my desk.

Never. If I ever did I'd just pay someone else to. the plastic would look better than what i could accomplish.

It depends on the week.

Usually it would be the 6-15 hour range (lower end of that) but when I'm away on secondment and have nothing but work and painting I get 50-60 hours per week.

I try to Paint Often but i have to go to my basement so if i do make it down there ill only paint mabye like half a model. Im an Ork painting and new one at that so i need tons of Touch ups but i started painting in Late June and have 5 done lol = D

When I get models I usually try to get them all painted ASAP, but I don't get enough for an hours a week

I said 1-5 hours. I may only paint once every few weeks, but when I do, it may be a whole day straight, then half of the next day.

I usually wake up before the world so I get an hour a day everyday. If I get a big project, then I will just plow through and that can be a whole day. There is so much I want to paint but only so much room to store it all.
