This is a statement I keep seeing almost every week in the forum. Now don't get me wrong, I like to help people pick an army that suits them well, but do we really need to repeat the same stuff everytime someone posts a "what army should I pick" thread because they don't look up the many other ones already existing.

My suggestion would be for someone with a firm knowledge of all armies (or a group of poeple) to create a very thourough and informed article on the strengths and weaknesses of each army and their styles of play and this kind of information .. .. basically the exact same stuff we all spout in these threads.

The Article could be stickied so new and old players alike can read it and gain information about the armies first. THEN if they have queries, post them in the same thread or start a new one to ask specific questions.

Am I being unreasonable or would a article be worth while doing?

No it's not unreasonable and yes, it's a good idea - I dont think it will stop the 'what army to pick' thread spam though, mainly because I'm a cynic and I think people are generally too lazy to read stickies.

Lol, maybe we should open a forum for FAQ, specifically for MOD's to post FAQ's for easy referencing. (I say MOD's because they will only add relevant questions, rather than random stuff that us normal users would put in there)

Just create an amusing picture with 'Well... what models do you like?' in it
