Decided to start a blog after posting in the old scratch built Warlord thread.
Well here's the first Warlord I'm working on. It's based on a set of old AT- AT legs. Since I have another pair of legs I plan on doing a second Warlord (and I need to finish the Reaver too). I was shooting for 24" but it comes out to 26". Most of the armor plates (thigh, shin, crotch, etc) aren't glued on because I wanted to paint them separately. The torso is fully rotatable and removable. I was going to keep the legs able to articulate, but it wouldn't support all the weight.
Still need to add a lot of detail all around. Beef up the toes and the arms.
About cost, the four AT- AT legs cost me $20. The rest is a single length of PVC pipe, some elbows and T-Junctions, poster board, for sale signs, bottle caps, very cheap. I guess I did splurge on the Cities of Death kit and I'm thinking of just buying Forgeworld Warhound Turbo-Lasers to mount on the shoulders.
The Armorcast Reaver I actually got pretty cheap. I've added some Forgeworld Brass Etchings and Manufactorum bits to the body as well as some rivets to the head (not pictured).
The plan is to have two Warlords, the Reaver, and two scratch built Lucius Pattern Warhounds by Tanksgiving 2011.

Must have modeled the head along with it's smaller kin,the reaver also the scale. But I love the color scheme.
Good work along the body and legs though,those are also challenging sections to do.

Those look pretty darn good. Id suggest adding a rim around some of the giant titan simply because the others have that banding on them as well. I think it would help your big ol titan look finished
