Well, hello again fellow dakka dakkaites. While in my weakend, puck-chooking stat, I decided to share with you all one of my up-and-comming projects which I have been working on these past few days. As the thread title suggests, that project is an ork leader (I'm still deciding what he will "count-as"; In this field I could use some suggestions please ) which, do to insperation from Generalian"s awe-inspering "Aku's Minions" force, is going to be a Samurai Ork by the name of "Sam-oo-ri Jork". *Begin Samurai Jack Theme Song*. Personally, I'm a huge Samurai Jack fan, so this idea seems like pure gold. Anyway, back to the converting. Here's Jork so far (Sorry for the quality of the pictures, I'm still trying to figure out the camera; piece of ):
As you all can see, Jork is about 1/2 done, I still have to "green stuff" on his toga (which may take a couple of days, depending on life and the overall attempt) and his "equipment" (Including his "rope" belt, sheath and other kit). Hopefully in couple days, I'll be priming him. Expect an update when I model the toga. Until next time .

Thanks Bbb, glad you like it. Concerning whether or not I'm going to use him in games is still open for discussion. At the moment, I'm unsure what I would " count-him" as (Like I said earlier, possibly a Warboss or even a Wierdboy, who knows). Honestly I'm open to suggestions on what to play him as so if you have a suggestion, by all means share it.
As well, thank you sworth, I'm glad you like the pose!

He looks great so far. I'd say- "counts as" Snikrot. He is so fast and precise with his kut-on-uh that it counts as two choppas... well, I'd say two power weapons, it is Sam-Jack after all. ;P

I was just thinking of doing a samurai Ork myself, if you want to count him as Snkrot and have him use to swords, just put a wakizashi on his side after words.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wakizashi
I don't think Jack carried one in the show, but its a traditional part of a Samurai's gear.
Whatever you do, good luck! He looks awesome already (love the hair).

Surely snikrot would be an ork in a black catsuit (eugh i just vomited in my mouth at the thought) with like three throwing stars.

Okay, it's offical then, Jork is going to " count-as" Snikrot. At first I wasn't really on board with the idea (I was thinking of playing him as a Warboss) but with further thought, I think it's a great idea that the Orkie master of stealth will be played by the Orkie "Masta of Choppin' Stuff wif a Kut-On-Uh". Thanks guys!
Also thanks all for the kind words. Once I find some time, I'll update on the progress of the cloak.
On a closing note...

Great work, but I think Ghosty just "bad touched" my brain.

Thanks carabine, kindly noted. And yes he also "touched my brain" in a bad way. Also I've been having an irregular amount of bad dreams this week, hmm wonder why?
