Good news for me, as I'm thinking about buying some, but I have some doubts, and apologies for going slighty off-topic (especislly if it's been discussed before) but is Mantic stuff compatible with warhammer figures scale wise?

Yeah they are.. they use same base sizes as GW also.. Most games (non 15 mm or super small scale) now design their models around GW sizes as to siphon off money :p Makes sense

The Undead and Dwarves are compatible in all senses of the word.

Elves on the other hand are really, really, really skinny.

40 skeletons, 40 revenants, 40 ghouls, 1 battle standard bearer, another hero and 5 wraiths

GW prices for that is 363$ + tax + shipping..

Agreed - I bought some undead from Mantic and am pleasantly surprised by the price and quality. Also, IMO they look better than the GW stuff - they are true scale rather than the GW skellies that have oversized heads and arms. Check out my gallery for some pics of assembled models.

I really like their marketing model- selling cases with every unit, and still keeping prices competitive. Good sculpts for a start up outfit too. If I ever have reason to get into fantasy its very likely to have Mantic figs making the bulk of it.
