I was recently told by my GW store manager that GW is going to be producing new terrain pieces for all the ones they have in the book. He also said that they are creating a system that if you buy a piece of terrain, build it, paint it, you substitute it for another piece of terrain on the field. He had also mentioned that in 8th ed. GW planned on releasing a new, and more Elite unit for every single army in this new edition and that they should be in the Erratas/PDFs they put out.

Has anyone heard anything similar?

Also the Terrain system I believe was for our store but I am not sure if other stores plan on adopting it.

I think only rumours coming from collared dress shirts at GW should be taken seriously.

Ignore the people who work at your GW store, it does wonders for you. They don't even understand the rules half the time, and you trust them with rumors?
