It's about time I made this P&M blog, it's what i signed up for in the first place, and i've finally found a decent camera.

This blog will follow the progress of my Warriors of chaos khornate army as I buy, assemble, and paint more stuff. Thus far i already have about 2000 points (not counting excess lords and heroes that don't fit in 2000 points together of course)

To start, here are some pretty pictures to look at;

the first unit of warriors, and the only fully painted unit (the third rank is grey plastic in this image but I have since painted them.)

The sorcerers (i needed magic in my army so i painted them suitably khornate colors. DON'T JUDGE ME!)

and a poor quality shot of one of the heroes

my shiny new unpainted daemon prince.

and to finish, a poor quality whole army shot (i know i don't have many units, I just bought plenty of marauders to even it out, they're a part of the 2000 point figure for the army)

more on the way soon.
Comments a criticism are most certainly welcome, anything to improve my painting/modelling

Ooooh shiny stuff! I like the molten effect on the armour of your chaos warriors! Sorcerers in a khorne army? That is beyond heresy!

Great stuff. I would love to know how you did the shields. I've been painting my Warriors recently, and I think having shields like yours would make them half as awsome as your warriors.

Right, so after a long, long time being distracted by a million shiny things that were not warhammer, i've found my camera and started this back up again. the total is now around 2500 points, and i've only painted slightly more than before. but my painting is definately improving at least

Started by mixing red gore and chaos black about 50/50 and coating the armour with that, then paint the edges and thin lines all over in red gore.
next, highlight these lines with a 50/50 mix of red gore and blood red, then plain blood red.
then, again highlight with 50/50 blood red and blazing orange, then just blazing orange.
next, and again, another highlight, 50/50 blazing orange and bleached bone, then a final highlight in the corners and such of just bleached bone.

now, have some more pretty pictures (will take more of the rest of the army later)

I won't abandon this plog again, honest

Really that is awesome. I thought Chaos Dwarves were long gone...like the 40k beastman and the gnome.

Army looks good. The shields are very very good.

Looks good, btw what is the big-ass thing in the top right of the pic (unpainted, being towed by a juggernaut), looks like it started out as a screaming bell carriage, but would like to see some close-ups please!
