Pretty much what it says. Basically, the local game store we've been using as a base in Woodbridge moved to a much smaller storefront. We managed to get 4 games going at one time last night, but it was more than cramped, it was constant bumping and nudging and in each other's way, etc. You get the idea. Now given that we usually have 8-12 games going on a regular 40K night, that ain't gonna cut it. So as much as I hate for us to do it, we're outta there. So check out the IFL forum (see my sig for link) to keep up with our oddessey as we search for a new home. There is one candidate that we're going to try out next week. Used to be EC Billiards, now it's just East Coast, basically a Latino dance club with bar and grill (tex/mex menu) attached. They seem to be fairly enthusiastic about us coming out, and hey, we can now drink beer while we play!! I'll let you know how it works out.

That be awesome. I'd never imagined wargaming there. Also, I hope to have a table setup at my place in fairfax soon. I'd love to get a few games.

Hmm, would be a bit of a trek for me, but I would like to make it out for some of you guys' events (especially if they're on a weekend) at some point. Although, I'm fantasy-only!

Second contender is the bowling alley on Occoquan road in Woodbridge, haven't made it down to check out the space yet, but food and beer would still be available. Gonna have to swing by there this afternoon on my way out to play.

That works for me, as this is the historic location of my first legal beer, and many sloppy nights there after.

I want to hear how this works out..
I know someone in woodbridge I'd love to go see and it would give me an excuse to bug them.

What can I say? East Coast was great. Lots of space, little confusion at the beginning as the manager wasn't there and the young ladies working the bar had no idea what was going on. But we went ahead and got started, manager shows up, starts pulling out folding tables, and away we go. Food was good, drinks were reasonable, we pretty much had the place to ourselves most of the evening.

Sounds sweet! So I guess you bring all your terrain / etc with you?

Which nights of the week do you guys meet there don? Futhermore, is there any kind of cover charge, or do iron fist dues cover it?
