Yeah, all the models in the little Hall of Fame they've had in WD lately are available again. It's pretty cool of them to do that, but ugh 10 bucks for one little metal model.

Standard price for a single metal mini these days.
I would say his place in the hall of fame is justifiied. I've always wanted to paint him with white hair, a dark blue overcoat and black armour. Maybe I should give it a go now.

Well, you're doing better than us here in Oz...it's AUD$18 for this figure (and that doesn't include postage...) on the GW webstore.
At current conversion rates, that's USD$17.80 for one figure...
Thank god for eBay!

I remember the day when those were the only style of CSM. I had around 8-10 of the beserkers. Not sure when I got rid of them but I wish I didnt. Is it just GW stuff or does everything in your country get nailed by those price jumps?

IMHO....It's mostly GW shops and their online store that get the huge comparative price rise. (Obviously containing comment here to the world of wargaming only...)
I've looked at quite a few non-GW miniature lines, and they seem to be in line with their overseas prices.
Explains why I only buy new GW stuff from Maelstrom. Their prices actually seem to reflect an honest conversion rate.

To tell the truth I never saw why this model gets so much praise, the holster is ridiculously oversized (though that's more a function of GW weapons being absurdly large), she has a typical GW man face and her dress looks starched. At least we can be glad her armor covers her breasts.

And this is why KK lives a happy life in my IGNORE pasture. It's near the farm where all my dogs went to retire to chase bunnies.
This model was very much the quintessential cadian commander. In the rear with the gear, only seeing action when needed. I like it, and I'm glad it's back in the range.

Same here Happygrunt, makes me wonder as well.
But on the topic of the model I think its one of the old ones that actually looks good, glad to see they put it back up.

And that wounded Cadian has come in very handy for Dark Heresy. Hell, I'll be using him this weekend to represent - you guessed it - a wounded Guardsman!!! Very similar - but you're thinking of the plastic Berzerker that was in roughly the same pose. I think about 20-25 of my Berzerkers are that model. They make great space fillers in full Khorne armies.

What lunacy is this, HB!
Obviously, he can only be a Wounded Guardsman from the 845th Cadian Light Infantry Regiment. Look at his helmet. CLEARLY.

I actually started collecting Cadians about 8 months before the new models/codex, and I wound up with the metal command squad that has this model in it. One of these days I'll have to get around to finishing him!
