This will probably be my last finished figure for 2010, an objective marker. It's a destroyed Necron Lord, attempting to "We'll be back". The picture is kind of blurry, but the intent to to have the top half of the lord trying to crawl back onto the damaged botton half.

Objective marker is coming along nicely. The green on the edges of the damage are the Necrons living metal trying to repair itself, along with the scarabs. I tried creating greenish looking fluid trails, but it's really dark. I think I'm going to experiment a bit after the figure is sealed, with mixing some Purity Seal, Green Wash, and maybe some thinker Glaze Medium for body.

Next up, a group shot of the year's production.

That's pretty cool. I generally don't like necron stuff, but that's nice...

That would make a objective marker, the scarabs really are the cherry on top.

Very nice.

Does the necron lord have a head? That's the only thing that kind of throws me as it's not really clear exactly where the lord is (I mean if I look at it I can see it, but I don't think the casual observer is going to get it.)

Yes, the Lord does have a head, but it's resting on the body of the Destroyer. Hard to see, probably need to get a better picture.

Great model, don't get me wrong... just a bit dodgy to sort out for the uninitiated.

I get it. The head is just hard to see. Unmodified, it's already a bit of an odd pose, since the head is bowed forward so much. Doesn't help that everything is gunmetal.
