This thread does exactly what is says on the tin, that being, to show off my death guard army, so here are some pictures of my favorite stuff.

First up is the Daemon Prince:

Next are the two best squads of Plague Marines:

And some Plaguebearers for when I need lesser daemons or want to play a daemon army:

more to come:

Automatically Appended Next Post:
And here's the rest of my favorite stuff:

A chaos Rhino:

Some nurgle havocs, and before people start moaning about how the death guard can't use heavy weapons, I argue that if they can keep a plasma gun working then why cant they maintain a missile launcher?

and probably my favorite unit in this army, the Blight Drones (these guy's get two photos!):

There is also a warhound titan, but that's not finished, so i don't want to show it off yet.

What do people think

I didn't like them at first but the scheme grew on me... but they seem a bit bright. I assume its just the lighting.

Anyway, they're brilliant models; I especially like the havocs and rhino commander.

These are great - do you have a photo of the full army?

Also, you should put them in the Army Profile section - that way they won't get lost when the thread gets old...

Overall I like them, nice color scheme and your daemons look good as well.
If I have any real criticism it would be that your metals, particularly the weapons, look far to clean for Death Guard.
Nice job though.

I agree with FITZZ, the colour scheme is good, but the metals seem too shiny and clean for a nurgle theme, especially given the stage of decay the other colour would suggest. Maybe a drybrush with a darker metallic first, say over black or even brown, rather than a solid coat of the metalllic. THe rust effects you've acheived on the Blight drones are really nice, perhaps you could put that back on the metals in the other squads?

I like it, even though i hate the Daeth Guard. I.E you should fix the Spelling Death Guard, not Daeth Guard.

The 1st one is green stuff on a soul grinder & the 2nd is the FW kit which comes with a complete defiler kit (ie loads of spares to add or even create the top half of a chaos dread!!)

Sorry - I had just assumed that this was a public show-off thread (like others on the board) inviting people to show off any Death Guard any members had done.
Feel free to delete my previous posts.

I apologise for any offence caused to the original poster and for breaking any forum rules.

Hey! Sorry to threadomance, but I saw pics of your squad featured on the main page of Dakka. To beat the rush (and becuase others are surely going to want to know), I'd really like to ask what your recipe for your DG scheme is (colors, technique, etc.).

If you don't mind a few amateurs imitating you, I'd really like to try it out. My own DG were green/brown, but I'm drawn to the pre-Heresy scheme these days- and yours is a great example. Thanks in advance!

Infinity: Way, way better than 40K and more affordable to boot!

Love seeing Death Guard done well! The use of white blends well with the mutations, pus, and the use of green.
