Hey everyone
After a small break from 40k I've decided to return and start completely fresh. I've always been a huge fan of the space marine fluff, but could never find a codex that would appeal to me enough to play. I'm going to be focusing on making the entire 4th company Blood Angels as I am a fan of the codex layout. From a modelling perspective I aim to create a worn 4th company, perhaps several months into a campaign. All my models will have at least some degree of battle damage to represent the attrition of battle. I am also not a fan of metal models so I will be converting various HQs into plastic figures.

Working on trying to get an escalation league together at my local store as well, Aiming for 750-1500 points, 250 additional points every 2 weeks or so. This is the 750 List I will first build up to. Not so much competitive as much as a modelling enjoyment for me as I am a huge fan of both Plasma, Gunlines, and Devastators.

As i'm really busy with work and school this is shaping up to be a fairly slow project. I've only been able to turn out 1 Marine so far but there will be more to follow, here's is my tactical squad Sergeant:

Always nice to see another Blood Angel player, it looks like we will be making BA companies at the same time, I am working on a 1st and 2nd company ATM (only 150 mahreenz left)

Commander Cain - That's awesome to hear, I couldn't imagine doing two companies at once, but im sure the whole first company leaves a lot of different modelling options with terminators ect.

Battle Brother Lucifer - Thanks for the praise, i'm looking forward to dynamically posing as many models as possible to make it really stand out on the table.

alexneufeld - I was lucky enough to be able to buy multiple sets at once, so I will have the option of switching between the kits.

For tomorrow after work I plan on getting at least the first 5 members done of the tactical squad so I can have a combat squad prepped for painting.
