Hey guys this is another battle report. My Buddy and I played a 1250 point game. Orks vs Nids. At the end of turn 2, I could have run around the board but decided against being an ass of an opponent in favor of having a good friendly game. Over all the game was awesome and I hope you guys enjoy it.

Did he role at all for the Tervagon's ability to spawn gaunts?

How do you feel the Nob bikers fare against opponents such as Marines and IG?

Nob bikers are really a declining build. They were a powerhouse before all the new codices - IG, BA, SW, Nids - came out. Now, their imbalance is really starting to show against the more balanced new armies.

Just recently I played against a Nob biker list at 2K with my nids. He had 2 biker warbosses, 2 large diversified nob biker units and 2 units of warbikers. I ended up tabling him on turn 4.

Yeah Craig did roll for spawning gaunts...he ruled doubles on the first 3 spawns =) Honestly I haven't played much IG, but I do play marines and they do pretty well. I like the build and can't say that I lose to to bad.

I have found that when playing a Nob Biker list, you have to play conservative. If I would have made him march after me instead of just charging straight ahead, I probably could have pulled the game off. With his 24 inch range, he wouldn't have been able to keep up.

I do agree that the Nob Bikerz aren't as powerful as they used to be, but I have done extremely well against most armies with them. Its all about being conservative and not falling under the impression that 1 Nob biker unit can take out a whole army.
