OMFG!!!! Those have to be the BEST weathered vehicles I have EVER seen! I'm going to assume you did them with an airbrush, right? My hat's off to you sir, fantastic work.

It is the 3rd Millennium. For more than a hundred months Games Workshop has sat immobile on the Golden Throne of Nottingham. It is the foremost of wargames by the will of the neckbeards, and master of a million tabletops by the might of their inexhaustible wallets. It is a rotting carcass writhing invisibly with business strategies from the early Industrial Revolution Age. It is the Carrion Lord of the wargaming scene for whom a thousand veteran players are sacrificed every day, so that it may never truly die. Yet even in its deathless state, GW continues its eternal vigilance. Mighty battleforce starter-sets cross the online-store-infested miasma of the internet, the only route between distant countries, their way lit by a draconian retail trade-agreement, the legal manifestation of the GW's will. Vast armies of lawyers give battle in GW's name on uncounted websites. Greatest amongst its soldiers are the Guardians of the IP, the Legal Team, bio-engineered super-donkey-caves. Their comrades in arms are legion: the writing team and countless untested rulebooks, the ever vigilant redshirts, and the writers of White Dwarf, to name only a few. But for all their multitudes, they are barely enough to hold off the ever-present threat from other games, their own incompetence, Based Chinaman - and worse. To support Games Workshop in such times is to spend untold billions. It is to support the cruelest and most dickish company imaginable. These are the tales of those times. Forget the power of sales discounts and Warhammer Fantasy Battle, for so much has been dropped, never to be re-published again. Forget the promise of cheaper digital content and caring about the fanbase, for in the GW HQ there is only profit-seeking, Space Marines and Sigmarines. There is no fun amongst the hobby shops, only an eternity of raging and spending, and the laughter of former employees who left GW to join better companies.

Nice and clean, not so SMURF and i always like a fresh take on an old and established subject.

I especially like the rust and dirt streaks on the Tanks.

Collecting Forge World 30k????? If you prefix any Thread Subject line on 30k or Pre-heresy or Horus Heresy with [30K] we can convince LEGO and the Admin team to create a 30K mini board if we can show there is enough interest!

The dark blue and weathering are fantastic. I'm not too taken with the lighter blue on the turrets though. I think it makes them look a bit unfinished, as if you haven't quite graded up to full white yet.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

I love the powder effect on the tanks. Looks alot more realistic and generally cool than the usual Ultrasmurfs. Great job!

On a boat, Trying not to die.

Those look more like Storm Wardens than Ultras.

But whatever. The paintjob, as always, blows my mind.

Very well executed without a doubt, but the airbrushed style isn't to my tastes unfortunately. Some sharper highlights on edges here and there would go a long way to giving the vehicles a little more 'definition' in my opinion. I also think your white looks a little too blue.

Just my 2c.

Like everybody else has said; you did a really great job on the weathering. What techniques did you use to accomplish such a result?

Really nice models as usual Nextlevel, looking good, i am particularly liking the silver metal areas on the tanks, they aren't as shiny and metallic as you usually see, wouyld you mind letting me know how you painted them? what colors etc. all in all you have amassed quite the collection of well painted armies in your time , can't wait to see the next one! :-)

I'm not feeling the sky-blue bits on the vehicles. They look a little weird and out-of-place. Cannot fault the overall finish though. I'm quite curious as to how long it'd take to paint an army to this style using brushwork as opposed to airbrushing...

I dont even want to think about that...hahaha too long, it still takes a solid 50 hours or more to paint this force

I love the airbrush work, however (Apart from the Drop Pods)I am also not a fan of the sky-blue sections.

Do you have a plan to add squad/chapter markings to the shoulder pads at all?

Silky smooth vehicle surfaces would look more at home on Eldar. Have you tried painting them?
It's a little to gradient/smooth for the Imperial war machine.
