The armour looks great, but put a couple of layers on white on the wings, you can see threw the paint

Yeah I will sort that out, thanks for the comments.

Try a very thin coat of grey on the wings, almost like a wash, it should bring out the details of the feathers better. But still looks good nevertheless.

Are you using dried gore or blood red for your red bits?

I thought so. Try going over it a couple more times lightly to really make it pop. Stark details really make a model shine.

What color are you using on the armor? I am getting ready to paint some of these guys here shortly and have not yet found the color I like.

Nice work. I like the metallic tones on the armor. I found these model really tough to paint...perhaps it was all the time I waisted blending their wings.

I think the wings might need a little more depth to the white. Another coat of plain old Skull White would probably do the trick.

Also, I think it's just the picture, but you might benefit from a coat or two more of a dark brown inkwash, to really make the feathery details pop.

For the armor I painted mithril silver, then I washed it about 5-6 times with sepia.

Have you ever thought about picking out the aquila on the chest with a silver or even a lighter gold i have found this looks verry good on these models.
